Other Plastic Products

This group covers the manufacture of plastic products not classified in sub-group 2220, including office and educational supplies, medical/laboratory items (such as IV bags and tubing), cellophane film, artificial stone, non-electric signs, and a wide variety of other goods like headgear, insulation parts, lighting components, sealed or joined clothing, furniture fittings, statues, adhesive tapes, wall coverings, durable plastic shoes, cigar and cigarette holders, combs, hair curlers, and novelty items. It also includes finishing operations like metal plating, coating, and painting, except for plastic parts and accessories specifically for motor vehicles. Excluded are the production of sports equipment, plastic children’s swimming pools (see group 32300), and plastic toys.
